Mobile Client Lead

You will join an experienced development team who use agile principals to create innovative, high quality (even award winning) software for the healthcare industry.  Your knowledge and experience will be put to use designing and developing cutting edge software for iOS and Android devices.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in designing product features with other developers & the Design team.
  • Integrating with our server product via WebApis.
  • Implementing client side UI and functionality.
  • Assisting the Service Desk in diagnosing issues.
  • Lead and mentor the other members within the mobile team.

 

 

Skills / Experience (required):

 

  • At least 3 years commercial iOS (Objective-C) development experience.
    • At least 1 year commercial Android development experience.
    • A thorough understanding of object orientated development techniques.
    • A thorough understanding of the iOS, Cocoa Touch.
    • Experience developing apps using the Xcode and Eclipse IDE’s.
    • Multithreading.
    • Ability to trace, diagnose and improve application performance.

 

Skills / Experience (desirable):

 

  • Scrum and performing the role of ScrumMaster for the team.
  • Understanding of Continuous Delivery concepts.
  • Exposure to software development within the Healthcare IT sector.
  • Use of GIT for source control.

 

Education

  • Computer Science (or similar) Bachelor’s Degree.

 

 

Aptitude

  • Able to demonstrate a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to software development.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Aptitude to quickly grasp new concepts and information.
  • Able to self-manage and coach others.
